By making payment, Customers already know and read all Terms and Conditions of Zalmon Fabric.
1. Complaint Requirements
In order to claim a return, please note:
- The fabric should be returned in the same form as it was received (not to be cut, stitched, cut or shaped).
- The deadline for filing a complaint is a maximum of D + 3 since the fabric is received by the Customer.
- Make sure the complaints are within our acceptable complaint terms as stated in this page.
- We can not compensate for the late processing time caused by factors beyond our control such as engine damage, design change request, and color matching process.
2. Error Tolerance and 4 Point System
The fabric used by Zalmon Fabric is a fabric made from 100% natural fibers. We use a mass production system (each Customer’s fabric will be processed simultaneously with orders from other Customers in a large quantity per batch).
Therefore, there is an error tolerance of 5-10% for the final print result. By making payment, Customers already know and read all the design and production terms of Zalmon Fabric.
We use the 4 Point System for our fabric inspection method. In this method, the fabric will be checked according to the defects found in the fabric. Each defect will be given a certain point. These defects include color difference, color fading (wear off), fabric shrinkage, color shifting, sharpness and quality, and print error (wrong direction).
2.1 Color Difference
We do not accept complaints regarding the color difference between the fabric and the design seen on the screen if the customer does not test print beforehand.
For customers who want to do a test print, the customer must send a color proof / color direction (in the form of a hard copy on paper or printed on fabric) first. For any color direction in the form of fabric, the type of fabric must be the same as the type of fabric ordered. There will be a tolerance of color differences between the color directions sent by consumers and the results of the fabric test print of 5% – 10%.
2.2 Color Fading (Wear Off)
- There is a 5-7% tolerance for color fading, especially for t-shirt materials and designs that have color blocks. This is due to the production of fabrics being produced in large quantities (along with other designs from other consumers).
- Please wash any white colored fabric separately from the colored one. We cannot replace fabric that has been washed by the customer (got worn off by colored cloth).
- If the fabric is being washed altogether, there will be color dissolved (from colored fabrics) in the water during the washing process, so it does not fit into the category of fading.
- We tolerate if the ink on the colored fabric area spreads to the white fabric area during the washing process.

2.3 Fabric Shrinkage
The fabric used by Zalmon Fabric is 100% organic fabric, please anticipate the shrinkage of the fabric length you have ordered.
2.3.1 Fabric Shrinkage
There is a maximum 3-5% tolerance for the shrinkage on the fabric. For example, the fabric size ordered is 100x150cm and shrinks to 95x148cm. You can anticipate this by adding a few centimeters to your order quantity. A complaint cannot be submitted, unless the result of shrinkage is more than 5%.
2.3.2 Fabric Skewing
There is a 5-7% (± 2-3 cm) tolerance for skewing of the total fabric width, especially for symmetrical designs or straight lines. For example:
If the customer has a scarf (panel) design and wants to get a scarf size of 110 x 110 cm (final size after sewing), there is a possibility that the final scarf after printing will be 110 x 112 cm or 108 x 110 cm.
2.4 Color Shifting
Plain white fabrics may have different shades of color due to different production batches. There is a tolerance of 5-10% color shift (and more for some types of fabrics) with previous print results even though using the same design.
The color matching archive from the previous order only lasts for 1 month since the color matching process is done. It is recommended to do the color matching process again if the repeat order has passed 1 month from the previous order.
2.5 Sharpness and Quality
Printing results and color sharpness are strongly affected by the design files. Print results will not be 100% the same as the design on the monitor. This is due to several factors, such as the file resolution (minimum 150 pixels per inch from the beginning of the design) and RGB color profile. We cannot accept complaints for print results without doing a test print.
2.6 Print Error (Wrong Direction)
Printing results and color sharpness are strongly affected by the design files. Print results will not be 100% the same as the design on the monitor. This is due to several factors, such as the file resolution (minimum 150 pixels per inch from the beginning of the design) and RGB color profile. We cannot accept complaints for print results without doing a test print.
3. Fabric Reprint Terms
If customers meet the terms and conditions above, compensation for any complaints can be given by reprinting the fabric and design that is the object of the complaint. This reprint process will require a production time of 14 – 21 working days (does not include color matching process).
4. Return Policy and Shipping Cost
- For returned fabrics, the shipping costs will be charged to the Customer
- The printed design is different from the design provided by the customer
- The printed fabric is different from the fabric ordered by the customer
- For sewing services, if there are items that should be sewn but we don’t sew them.
Please note that Zalmon Fabric will not pay additional fees such as customs fees, taxes, and other additional fees. These fees will be charged to the Customer.
5. Design Privacy and Copyright
- Zalmon Fabric keeps the confidentiality of Customer designs and is willing to sign Non Disclosure Agreement (NDA) if required.
- Customer is responsible for all copyrights submitted to Zalmon Fabric.
- Zalmon Fabric is not responsible if there are claims/strikes regarding the copyright of designs sent by the Customer.
